Jeremy Lime, Attorney
Jeremy is a 2009 graduate of The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law. Originally from Indianapolis, Indiana, Jeremy is proud to descend from Irish immigrants, but says “this country’s immigration laws have changed so much since my great-grandparents arrived here, and not for the better.” He often delivers presentations to community service providers and educators to give some perspective about the immigrants who are trapped in this complex system.
For Jeremy, practicing immigration law is the best way to make a difference in people’s lives. “There’s nothing better than handing a client their Green Card after working together for several years. After getting lawful status, a formerly undocumented immigrant sees their income increase; they feel more empowered. Many times, they get to see their family after twenty-plus years of separation. Who wouldn’t want to have a job like this if they could?”
